Blowpinholder without high adjustment and quick chande coupling

Why do we need blow mandrel attachments ( BDAN) without all these helpful additions like quick coupling and height adjustment.

If your blown product exceeds a certain size or weight, you can unfortunately no longer use a BDAN with quick coupling. In this case the 8 holders which are built into the quick coupling would wear out after a longer period of time. (Fitting seats would wear out)

Therefore, a third variant has been decided upon, which can handle heavy and large containers. Here, the blow pin is secured with two screws, and if these should really come loose, there are three spring screw inserts inside the BDAN for safety. These three spring screw inserts ensure that the blow pin is always held in the BDAN. A groove in the blow pin shaft allows the springs to hook in, so that the blow pin can never fall onto or into the mould.
